# Slow loading time

 * After the recent update, my gallery is no longer displaying on my site. I’ve 
   tried clearing my cache and deactivating other plugins, but it still doesn’t 
   work. What else can I try?

   most common reason is the size or number of images being used. Large image files
   can significantly impact loading times, even though the gallery itself is optimized
   for performance.
 * Optimize your images. Resize and compress the photos used in your gallery. Aim
   for web-friendly dimensions (e.g., 1200px on the longest side) and formats like
   JPEG or WebP with compression to reduce file size. Tools like TinyPNG or online
   image compressors can be very helpful.
 * Reduce the number of images. If your gallery contains a large number of photos,
   consider breaking it into smaller galleries or albums to improve performance.
 * Enable lazy loading. Check if your gallery plugin has a lazy-loading option. 
   This ensures that only the visible images load initially, with others loading
   as users scroll.
 * Verify hosting performance. If your site is hosted on a shared server, high traffic
   or limited server resources can sometimes slow down loading. Upgrading to a faster
   hosting plan might help if this is a recurring issue.
