Slow loading and Page Not Found errors

    I am using a theme on the latest version of wordpress .. when I share a post from the blog it is saying page not found .. which I expect is down to the OG type section but I don’t fully understand nor have the ability to solve this.

    Additionally the site loads really slow .. there are numerous problems part of which is probably because of shared hosting and the other part because the site is heavy on images. Any advice or guidance is helpful and appreciated.

    The reality is that I may need some additional help to try and solve this issues.

    Have you tried:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If your host provider has a “Purge Varnish” option or if you can ask your provider to flush memcache on your server. If you are using SiteLock, manage your caching there.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen or Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Regarding website slowness, someone could give you more info if you’d share your website url…

    run your site with tools.pingdom.com.

    U find the suggestions needed to make your site quicker.

    Basically for speed optimize on shared hosting, there are available free plugins –

    1) use page cache plugin
    2) image lossless compression
    3) use Jetpack photon

    hope that gives u some direction
