slow loading

    Hi ,

    My wordpress is running with config of
    4GB RAM
    VPS ( separate for this site only)
    unmetered bandwidth
    debian os 6 32bit

    The problem is site loading fast ,no problem , but after importing a 9k post from blogger its came to dead slow & its taking 5 to 8 min to load a page .

    Note : only after importing

    pls help
