    Hello.

Why does the latest version of the plugin slow down page loading?

A page without the plugin loads in 700 ms.
A page with the plugin loads in 1 second.
A page with the plugin, but without the option “Do not use automatic priority calculation”, loads in 800 ms.

The plugin slows down performance by 100–200 ms.

Why does it load at all when the landing page is visited?

    Latest version of WP
    Latest version of plugin.
    Multi Sites websites.

To be clear, do you have examples of pages with and without the plugin?

First, our plugin appears to account for 10% of the total execution time contributed by plugins. It’s not possible (as you have proven) to add plugins to your site without increasing execution time.

A couple of other things: it appears that your web host needs to allocate more compute to your account because all of your plugins have a significant impact on execution time. Furthermore, it appears that our plugin is not a bad actor (were it so, millions of installations would be in complaint). My recommendation is to consider a better web host that offers an opcode cache, or at least a page caching plugin.
