# Slow first Byte Time??

 * my website’s first byte taking 2 to 3 seconds so it is considered as very slow.
   i think after installation of SSL it is slow down. i deactivated all theme and
   plugin and switch to Twenty thirteen but it is not improving.
    How can i fix 
   this? Is ssl required any configuration (HTTP/2)? or any other problem

 * SSL isn’t really an issue. The TTFB isn’t terrible.

 * I see you’re already using a a caching/optimizing plugin, so whatever slowness
   is there is probably due to server resources.

 * TTFB is 1s when i tested it on Gtmetrix. seems quite ok.
