I have been using WordPress for more than a year, and I have to say I love it. So, first of all, congrats for the developers, great work 🙂
I have a question, maybe more people have the same problem. I installed the last version yesterday through the admininstration panel. Everything worked, files were updated and everything was happiness 😛
But since I updated, I have noticed that the admininstration panel is very slow. I enter http://……/wp-admin, I fill the admin and password, click OK, and then… I have to wait near 15 seconds until the dashboard appears.
Once I am loged in, I have no problems if I close and log in again.
And then, click (for example) the “create post” button, it takes about 15 seconds to load, again. At first I thought it was my server’s problem, I wrote to support and they told me everything was ok.
Then I realised that if I visit the blog (like a visitor does), the site works fine and fast. Only admin panel is slow (so I can discard ISP and my server’s issues). My visitors say the site is fast, so I have thought it can be a little bug in this new version. Is it possible? Does anybody else have this problem?
