Support » Plugin: Events Manager » Slovenian Language bad translation

  • derenc

Hello I wish to inform you that the Events Manager plugin translation is incomprehensible.

I’m using WordPress in Slovenian language and your plugin is so badly translated that I am unable to understand it. It’s so bad I can’t even select the correct settings because I don’t know what a certain setting does or what it means. It’s gibberish, combination of Slovenian words which together do not mean anything. It reminds me of early versions of Google Translate which were really bad.

I can correct the translation of the front end strings, but I’m afraid I don’t have enough time to translate the backend too.

For now I’m going to delete the language files to be able to see the settings in English and see what the plugin can do.

Hello @timrv I just wanted to inform you that the plugin as it is is not ok. I can’t set it up because I don’t understand what each setting does. This current translation is creating some problems for users.

If it is possible I would like to suggest you to revert the backend strings (translation of settings only) back to English language, and I could translate the front end strings (the ones that website visitors see).

I understand; unfortunately, EM translations is already being handled by WordPress which you can also contribute using this link –

There are too many strings to correct to make this plugin usable.
