I updated wordpress and SlimStat and the plugin stopped logging. This did not happen in my DEV environment when I tested the updates, it is still logging.

I have tried deactivating it and reactivating it. I backed up the directory, deleted it and put a fresh install in the plugins directory and it still does not log.

I am not seeing anything in the log files that indicate the issue.

Any suggestions on what I should try?

    Hi Shay2501,

while inspecting the source code, I noticed that the tracker is returning the following message:

    Request URL:https://www.amazenu.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    Request Method:POST
    Status Code:500 Internal Server Error
    Remote Address:107.180.51.85:443

This is a server error that your hosting service provider can help you troubleshoot, as they have access the server’s error log files. In the meanwhile, could you try changing the User Agent Accuracy parameter from HIGH to NORMAL (if you’re using Slimstat 4.3.6) and see if that helps? You can find it under Slimstat > Settings > Tracker tab.

    Jason.

    Jason,

I changed the setting and it didn’t help.

I verified that admin-ajax.php was there and I had access to it.

Then I disabled tracking in SlimStat, and deactivated another plugin that does some extra hardening. I re-enabled the tracking in SlimStat and it worked. Then I re-activated the security plugin and everything seems OK now.

    Thanks for your help.

Apologies for intruding. Your support threading system was not a 100% clear and I am still in need of help. I started a separate thread as per instructions.

Terrific! A review for Slimstat would be a nice way to say thank you:

It’s okay, it happens sometimes. Thank you for starting a separate thread, I will address your issue there.

    Best,
    Jason
