Version 3.6+ uses a few indexes to improve performance, but that shouldn’t affect the speed of your site so badly. On our main site, [http://slimstat.getused.to.it](http://slimstat.getused.to.it) , we have SlimStat enabled of course, with about 700k pageviews in our table.
