 * I like SlimStat plugin. It is a great plugin.
 * Is there any way to remotely interrogate the data through the WordPress API or
   using some kind of way, perhaps via an additional plugin to allow me to get at
   some of the user data in SlimStat and automatically export it for processing
   elsewhere (automatically).
 * Essentially, I would like to have a trigger activated when users visit a specific
   page, such as watching a video, and then the API sends that “triggered event”
   out into an externally hosted database, either via the WordPress API or an alternative.
 * I can pay for a developer, but just need to know how best to approach this?
 * Would I be best interrogating SlimStat or perhaps another plugin like Aryo-activity-
   log?

 * Slimstat allows you to do what you describe via hooks to actions and filters.
   An add-on for Slimstat would monitor the URL being tracked during any given page
   view, get all the data collected by the tracker, and then trigger that call to
   the other server to store your custom data there. Please note that we also offer
   premium add-ons to allow you to store the data collected by Slimstat into an
   external database. All you need to do is to setup the db credentials, and then
   the add-on takes care of the rest.

 * Thanks Jason,
 * You mentioned that an add-on would monitor the URL being tracked during any given
   page view, get all the data collected by the tracker, and then trigger that call
   to the other server to store your custom data there.
 * Which add-on would achieve that please?

 * Sorry, I should have clarified that: I meant to say a CUSTOM add-on that we would
   develop just for your purpose.
 * Jason
