    1. JetEngine Profile Builder allows the admin to choose one of the pages to use as the user directory.
    2. So I created a page called “User” (slug “user”) and in JetEngine Profile Builder settings, I selected that page for the user directory.
    3. I create another page called “User Edit Profile” with the slug “user-edit-profile”.
    4. At this moment, both pages are just fine and accessible.
    5. But when Slim SEO is installed, the page “User Edit Profile” shows a 404 HTTP Error.
    6. I try to save changes in Permalink Settings, but it doesn’t work.
    7. I deactivate the Slim SEO plugin, doesn’t work too. The User Edit Profile page still displays a 404 error.
    8. I edit the slug of the User Edit Profile page to “edit-profile” only, (without “user”). Surprisingly, the page is accessible again.
    9. I realize that any page the slug contains the word “user” will trigger the 404 HTTP Error.
    10. I created another page with random name and slug, for example “1231sdsgsf”, and I set this page as user directory in JetEngine Profile Builder settings.
    11. All pages with a slug that contains “user” are now able to view normally.

    Hi @jigu6

Currently Slim SEO does not have a feature that can redirect an URL to 404 page, it only logs and redirects 404 page to a specific page that user selected like Homepage. You can see that in Slim SEO Settings page > Redirection.

    According to your #7:

I deactivate the Slim SEO plugin, doesn’t work too. The User Edit Profile page still displays a 404 error.

Slim SEO was inactive and the page for User still displayed 404 > Now we know that Slim SEO does not affect anything in your site, the error could be caused by other plugins.

To make sure that Slim SEO does not conflict with Crocoblock, can you try to activate it again and then create a page like your #10 to check if it’s working?

I created another page with random name and slug, for example “1231sdsgsf”, and I set this page as user directory in JetEngine Profile Builder settings.

The error comes from JetEngine itself, we have made a video about testing, you can see it here: https://vimeo.com/786462789

Slim SEO is not activated, only activate JetEngine and the page user-edit-profile is still not showing. After we deactivated JetEngine, it’s showing again.
