Slideshows (three types)

    I’m running WordPress 3.4 with canvas v 5 installed. There is a need for slideshows of photos in the head, sidebar and within widgets. I have perused the plugins and looked at Canvas. It appears canvas can do a page slideshow, is that right? Can anyone recommend plugins or widgets for the other areas slideshows?
