Support » Plugin: Slider, Gallery, and Carousel by MetaSlider - Responsive WordPress Plugin » Slideshow works in Preview, but otherwise NOT.

I am using MetaSlider in my WP site’s sidebar as a widget. I would like the site to display three versions of three different slideshows in the primary sidebar on the right side of the site. While they work perfectly when I’m logged into the dashboard and previewing the site, none of the three slideshows work at all when I log out and expect to see the site as it’s been designed.

I am using the Gibson theme. I would be hard-pressed to change it as some of what I am doing with the site seems to work best in this theme.

I also see no conflicts with other plugins. Can you tell me what I’ve done wrong?

    Hi @ronzo19,

Looks like a conflict with Fast Velocity Minify. Can you disable that and try? If so, you’ll have to add an exception rule in their settings area, or use another plugin to minify your assets. Autoptimize is one that seems to work properly.

Let me know if that works.

You are 100% correct. Fast Velocity Minify was the problem. Thanks so much for the help. It’s a beautiful plugin!

Glad to hear it’s working now!

By the way, if you’re enjoying the MetaSlider plugin please leave us a 5-star review. They really help us out (if you feel it’s not worth that, please do let us know how we can improve). Thanks!
