 * Been looking for a really simple slideshow plugin with a next/previous option
   that can accommodate landscape and portrait images similar to this one…

 * all the ones i’ve seen so far on wordpress seem unnecessarily complicated. even
   the supposedly simple ones. anyone know one that might be along the right lines?

 * Carousel Gallery (jQuery) plugins the best so far. fade would be a nicer functionality
   though. tried nextgen as well but not too keen on the whole look of a flash player.
