Further, it actually work again and again if I am careful not to double click, if I click only once, it does not lock itself. However if I doubleclick I must reload the website, not only the webpage
What slideshow plugin are you using?
Hi, thank for attending to this. I don´t use any slideshow plugin, just used the WordPress Gallery upload and followed intructions in ” The Missing Manual”. I can´t see that any plugins for this or Widget is installed so I guess that this is something basic standard that comes with WP
It is just a book issued in the series called The Missing Manual, these books are over almost everything, issued by O Reilly by Matthew MacDonald
I am a beginner and I was just using the dashboard, made new page and uploaded pictures into gallery. I did not use any plug im this seem all ready to run with WP. Just when I started to test and play with it, it always locks completely if I double click on the thumbnails. If I am careful to just click once, no problems as this occurs.
I’m somewhat confused. There’s no slideshow functionality in WordPress by default. so either this is being added by your theme or a plugin.
My theme is Twenty Elewen theme which is comes with the WP setup, I just activated it, and started to make pages and this gallery. The Gallery works just fine but if I accidentally double click on thumbnail in the Gallary, it locks itself up and I have to reload the website to be able to click once with success.
I have not added any plugin in yet, so this must come with the version of WP which is the latest version.
Have you checked this on my website, http://www.web3.orlandoflorida.is? The gallery is under Pictures

Not to my knowledge. I can see that something with the name carousel is in the browser bar when it is running, but no slideshow plugin were install. If there is a plugin, then it came with the version of WP and is somehow integrated.
I am now looking for a good slideshow plugin and will install it when I find it
I have now found a good plugin and installed it, if you check this out, the page thumbnail no longar become inactive if by accident somebody double clicks. This plugin works fine.
