    I assume you mean “change” instead of “fix”, since it looks ok to me.

    I don’t believe you can change the height and width without some extensive CSS, because the current layout doesn’t really allow it.

    You can’t make it wider, because you have a widget area next to it (Latest News).

    If you can remove that widget from your layout, then perhaps it will add more space in order to increase the width of the slider. And the width should always be 100% for responsive purposes. And if the width is 100%, the height should be auto, otherwise it will look bad. If you add a fixed height now, it will just make the images stretch vertically.
