# Slideshow Fade effect does not work!

 * Hello Community!
    before installing CC, i looked at many use cases of this theme,
   many of them had nice slideshows with a nice fade effect. however, when i installed
   CC and set the slideshow up (by page ids, not posts), i noticed that slideshow
   does not have a fade effect, it just changes the featured images after say 5000ms.
 * maybe i’m missing an obvious thing?!
 * i’d really appreciate your help since the site is going to be live in few days.
   (
   now it is a local install, sorry that i cant provide a link)
 * p.s.
    i have checked all plugins and deactivated them to make sure they are not
   responsible.

 * I have the same problem since upgraded to WP 3.6
    See this post, the explanation

 * The solution for now is to install another plugin until CC2 version is published.
   
   In the above link suggests a plugin [SlideDeck2](http://wordpress.org/plugins/slidedeck2/)
