slideshow duration setting kills slideshow

    hi,

    when I change the duration time of the slideshow fade the slideshow does not show up anymore. Resetting the default via the reset panel it works. As far as I can see no other parameter is involved in this bug. Unfortunately the 10 sec default is not acceptable.

    (WordPress 3.9.1 with Responsive Theme 1.9.6.1 + Child Theme.
    The gallery is the only plugin.)

    any suggestions appreciated
