# slideshow display problem

 * Hi any help would be appreciated to solve this issue that’s got me scratching
   my head.
 * Nextgen 1.8.3 installed with good plugin check test.
    Gallery created no problem
   imagerotator uploaded to /uploads and found on search [nggallery id=x] works 
   fine slideshow option from [nggallery id=x] works fine
 * however, for
 * [slideshow id=x] nothing, not even the rotator
 * tried all the usual such as reinstalling and turning off other plugins to no 
   avail. This installation was installed through installatron but it isn’t in a
   sub directory if that has any bearing.
 * has to be a nuance of the wp installation as have it working on other installs
   with same plugin/version combos
 * Any ideas?

 * thanks for the reply Alex.
 * I ended up resolving but not finding out why the problem occurred. Since it was
   a new install I just created a new database and pointed it to the WP install.
   It worked after that.
