My slideshow is broken too. http://www.ctkla.org
It was working fine until the update. All I get is a thumbnail of one image. I tried adjusting all the settings I could think of to correct the problem.

@RobertHarm – I can see the first link images working correctly and showing the slideshow when clicked but I also see the issue you are describing on the second link with the big black box … does this still happen if you turn off the flash option?
@richard – This appears to be an unrelated issue an quite possibly related to the theme you are using … have you tried a different theme to see if it works there?

I tried changing themes and no luck. I have been running the slideshow since April on the current theme without issue until recently.

if I turn of the flash option for slideshow, images are now displayed, but in the wrong dimension – please see http://www.designergarten.at/bilder-videos/nggallery/www-designergarten-at/schwimmteiche/slideshow/ for an example.
Is it save to downgrade to 1.9.13?

another update: just found out that the slideshow works in latest FF
IE, but in Chrome, the dimension are not right
anyway I would like to use the flash slideshow as I use music…
