Every WP site on my VPS has had their sliders stop working after a PLESK micro-update. Called Parallels and they were no help. This is only for sites using WP v4.5. PLESK is running v12.0.18 Update #81.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Clients are having a freak out 🙂

That’s simply not enough to go on. And we’re not Plesk support.

Enable debug https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG and check your browser console for Javascript errors.

I realize this is not PLESK support… Have already enabled debugging and have checked for JS errors… It’s just odd that this happened over the last 24 hours after the micro-update. I seriously doubt that would do it though.

I am looking up this error now: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[href*=#]:not([href=#])

btw, all plug-ins and themes have been updated…

Your themes have not been updated or are still broken if they show that jQuery error. Read the console error to find out what plugin/theme is broken. Commercial and paid/premium themes and plugins are not supported in these forums.

Mark, yes, I realize that due to the fact that all themes and plug-ins have been updated.
Theme and plug-in authors need to fix the issue. Will have to wait it out.

Thanks for that update staartmees! Very helpful.

rolled back to jquery 1.11 for the time being. Not the best move to take but it brought everything back online.
