    The three slider panes at the top of the home page display properly on some computers, yet not on other computers/browsers. When the sliders do not function, the three background images for each slider are stacked on top of one another (and therefore take up half the screen), while the text of all three slider panes is overlain on top of each other.

    The website is running on the latest version of WordPress, and all plugins have been updated. It is not running the latest version of PHP, since the PHP Compatibility Checker plugin reported 1 warning (Use of deprecated PHP4 style class constructor is not supported since PHP 7).

    The home page of the website has been malfunctioning for several months now, and I have been unable to find a solution

    You should ask in your theme’s support forum if the slider is from the theme.
    Otherwise, ask in the slider plugin’s support forum.
    WordPress does not supply slider functionality.
