Slider’s height unable to change (other than homepage slider)

Hi guys,

I’m trying to achieve the following. I have a slider on the homepage which is 600 pixels high. On other pages I would like a smaller slider (at least the height has to be smaller)
I’m using sliders with just one slide. I would like them to have a height of only 300 pixels. I thought it would be simple, by checking the “Replace the default image slider’s height” button, but that doesn’t seem to do anything. Every picture that I place into the slider is made into 500 pixels high. Am I missing something?
