Slider WD Slowing Down Server Response?

I recently noticed dramatic drag in server response when updating my website. It took me a week to solve the problem after having gone back and forth with tech support at the hosting company. Turned out it was Slider WD that was causing the delay. Every time I turned on the plugin, the server response would become excruciatingly slow. Any comments from the developer?

Hi!
I have a problem with slider wd. Site is working really slow. And page is freezing for 10-15 seconds and than work again.

Have you updated the plugin to the latest version released yesterday? It fixes the load time related issues.

I’m encountering this same exact issue with the sliders slowing down the server response. Once I remove them, I have no issues at all. I’ve updated the plugin to the latest version so I dont know that that’s the issue. Please advise – thanks.

Yes,Ive updated slider wd to the latest version. But still its working slow.

Dear @adiaekhtiar11,

You also please try to reduce the image sizes, you also have large photos like this one with 1.3mb.

Besides this, please make sure that you have enabled Smartload, for this please enter Settings > global > Smart Load > Yes.
