# Slider: Text Only?

 * Hi – is there a way to only specify the text for the slider, instead of pages?
   I’d be happy to just specify the words to scroll instead of page titles. Thanks!

   inconvenience. Currently there is no option to have a custom texts to add as 
   a slider, but only the pages. This will be available in coming releases.
 * However, you still can customize and tweak the theme making a [Child Theme](https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes).

 * Hello,
    To change the slider text please go to
 * **Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Header Text Slider**
 * There you will be able to select pages for the text slider. The text slider will
   render the title of the selected pages.
