# Slider slide editing

 * I’m having an issue in edit mode switching to other pages in the slider to edit.
   I can add more slides and the old ones go out of frame, but the slide buttons
   don’t work. They work when the slide is published and you click them from the
   live site, but not in edit mode. Am I doing something wrong?

 * Hi! Thanks for the report, you’re definitely not doing anything wrong. This is
   a confirmed bug on our end.
 * The slider navigation arrows and dots were designed to work in the editor, but
   a change in how WordPress renders the block editor (it now uses an iframe) caused
   them to stop responding to clicks, only sliding on a touchpad. The buttons work
   perfectly on the published site because the frontend uses a completely different
   navigation system that isn’t affected.
 * We’ve already fixed this and it will be included in the latest update, 2.0.49.
   Once you update, the arrow and dot buttons will work in the editor so you can
   easily switch between slides while editing.
