Slider resizing clumsily

    On loading the home page, the Nivo slider starts with height of about 500px and takes a few seconds to resize to the 200px I’ve set for it. It looks really bad, is there a way for me to fix it? This is happening in all browsers. My site is currently on localhost so no link to it here. I can only assume that there’s a default setting somewhere for the larger size that is then redirecting to my inputted width and height after a few seconds?
