 * So, I just updated my customized frontier theme to the latest version (1.2.0),
   and my slider disappeared and refuses to appear on my website, no matter where
   I ask it to be displayed (neither below menu nor before content).
 * If my theme wasn’t customized and if I didn’t have anything on the website, I
   would simply do a full reinstall, but that would cost me a lot of time.
 * Please help!

 * What slider are you using? I don’t see anything being loaded as a plugin…

 * The theme’s default slider 🙂

 * Apparently, there is a problem with the slider when using W3 Total Cache ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/)).

   After disabling it, the slider works just fine.
 * Any thoughts on how to make them work together?

 * Did you try just clearing the cache rather than disabling it?
 * If so, and that wasn’t the issue…
    you can try other cache plugins to find one
   that doesn’t interfere with your slider.

 * Yes, just refreshing the plugin cache should do it. I have used the theme slider
   with W3 Total Cache before and it works just fine.

 * Thanks for the advices, I managed to get it working after playing with the settings
   a lot 😛
