Slider post showing Author, Date, Permalink

    Hi All,

    I have been trying to get one picture to show without any Author, Date, Permalink or Category on the slider. I have already clicked on the Display Slider of sticky posts and have a published sticky post. When I view the page it has Author, Date .. . . blah blah.

    How do I just show the picture? Any ideas?

    same here..

    there’s a way to remove these tags but it will make the whole page static

    Click on Appearance > Theme Options > Here there Should be Static Page Setting

    Are you using the “Featured image” feature of the post or just pasting the image inside the post’s content area. For the slider to work properly just add a featured image to the post and leave the content area empty.

    Thank you for your replies. With your help I figured out what was going on.

    I did have the Featured image selected and I didn’t have anything in the content area. As for the static Page setting, that is in the Settings / Reading menu. My issue was that I had Static selected. Once I changed back to Your latest posts, it worked fine.
