Support » Fixing WordPress » Slider Plugins are blank and do not allow me to edit or add new

  • Hi

This only happened yesterday, and I don’t think it has anything to do with the plugin per say as I have tried to upload many slideshows/sliders and they refuse to be edited and some of them I can’t even add any images at all.

The current slider I was using worked amazingly but now whenever I go to add a new slider the edit page flashes up and then goes blank so I have no way to uploading images.

can you please help me I have been trying to figure this out for more than 10 hours now and I would just like to put uo new content on my website!

    Many Thanks

  • If this is happening with a slideshow plugin, then it’s probably related to the slideshow plugin.

When asking for help in forums that relate to a plugin, it is best to ask for help in the forum dedicated to that plugin. Normally I’d provide a link to the proper support forum but you didn’t provide any information either about your site, or what theme or plugin you’re using.

Hi sorry! I’m new to all of this!

    my website is http://www.discreetmuse.com
my theme is tempest and the plugin is a3 responsive slider

I have tried but it seems inactive… a couple months outdated which is annoying.

need a slider that can fade in and out images that are portrait and landscape and it seems that the current faulty plugin that i am using is the only one that has this function?

have tried to download quite a few free slider plugins and they seem either faulty (i.e. I can’t add images or the pages are blank like what has happened to my current responsive slider) or they are very very limited in the function of what I need it to do!

Is there any way you can help me?

If the same problem is happening with several different plugins, then you might have a conflict with the theme your using.

First try disabling any other plugins to make sure it’s not a conflict between plugins. If that doesn’t work, then try switching to default WordPress theme and see if the problem goes away.

If it appears to be theme related, then you’ll need to contact the developer directly as Tempest is a commercial theme and we don’t have access to it here.

    Their website is:
