Slider not centering on web page

  • I have Meta Slider v2.8.1 free for my website. While it is extremely easy to use I am having trouble centering the images on my home page.

    After uploading the images and clicking ‘save and review’ the slider opens in a pop up window and everything is perfect. But when I open the homepage, the images are off to the right (the slider navigation arrows on the sides are centered, but not the pictures)

    I have checked all alignment options within the slider and page alignment options and all seems to be ok. I also have tried re-sizing and trying alternative images. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

    Please try adding this CSS to your themes style.css file:

    #launchinnermain .metaslider ul {
        margin-left: 0;
    }

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    I have added the code to my css file but nothing has changed. Does it matter where it is positioned in relation to the other codes on the css file?

    Hi,

    It doesn’t matter really – as long as it’s on a new line.

    I can’t see that CSS on your site. It might be easiest to install the Simple Custom CSS plugin, then to to Appearance > Edit CSS and paste in the CSS I sent earlier 🙂

    Regards,
    Tom.
