Slider Images do not show and Post pics do not either – PLEASE HELP!!

    I am using a free wordpress non-profit organization theme at charity.successthrives.com . I have a bunch of sample posts and pages, with nonsense info filled in just to try and get setup and see how everything works.

    I have pics for featured images and I have pics in the post as well. I have the slider image set to the right category and yet still NO IMAGES show. I do not know what else to do at the moment.

    Bah, bad news.. that theme uses timthumb to display the images. Ugh.

    That method really shouldn’t be used. WordPress has built in support for images and that method leads to broken images all the time. If your’re just starting out, I would recommend that you pick a different theme and look at the ones in the WordPress repository. A lot of themes out there are a bit dodgy and don’t meet the strict regulations that the themes in the repo must adhere to.

    You could of course, fix the theme, but you would have to hack it and that might be a lot of work.
