The ideal recommended image size is 1380px by 770px – images will be cropped and resized to fit in their elements.

The featured images are inserted on the post edit screen – look at the right bottom of the screen for “Featured image” and click the link that reads “Set featured image”.

Those are posts that you need to publish – include a featured image as outlined above to get the same results 🙂

I’m not certain why, but I cannot get the four “markup” images in the theme demo’s header to appear in my theme at i-portlandrealestate.com installed the theme directly through WordPress’s free install section and have not deleted any files… I have used the “set featured image” option on several posts and it does not seem to populate the header/markup area that the demo utilizes…
Am I missing something?
