Support » Fixing WordPress » Slider Image Auto-Sizing

  • Hi,

My site is obsessandconsume.com. I just downloaded the RenderMagazine theme and have been messing with it and I absolutely love it. The only problem is I thought the featured content slider at the top would somehow resize my images (to fit the slider) the way the thumbnails were called in the excerpts below it. Thing is some of the images in my posts are too large for that slider, and you can only see the top of them. If you sit and watch it for a min, you can tell some images are off. Size of slider is 589×308, and i noticed there is some CSS to overwrite the size of the imgs, but it only makes sure the width is correct, so it can fill the width of the slider so it says width: 589px. I adjusted it to width: 589 px height: 308px but it made the imgs all messed up then too fat and weird. I’m just wondering what other ppl do, how is it perfect on some sites. can i get to auto fit somehow? I wanna use the slider i loves it, help, thanks guys.
