 * Hi
 * I read many support threads about adapt thumbnail/slideshow image, but didn’t
   work for me at all. If I remove the crop, when I add a large image, the slideshow
   automatic makes it bigger.
 * My question is how to do for the image to be adapted to the dimensions of the
   slideshow. I mean, if the slideshow dimensions are 720 x 340 and your image is
   500 x 1500, it adaptes automatic to a balanced size to fit the slideshow measurements,
   so in this case: 113 (the balanced size) x 340 (the maximum size of the slideshow).

   For a 1500 x 500 image: 720 x 240
 * Thanks

 * Hi pre20. The basic issue is that images are cropped proportionately, but they
   won’t be expanded, to fit the designated thumbnail size. So, in the case of a
   720×340 thumbnail (used in the featured posts), for an image that is 500×1500,
   the width is less than the thumbnail width so the height is sized down to 340px,
   which gives a ratio of 340/1500 = 22.67%. The width is then sized proportionately
   so 500 x 0.2267 = 113, and you end up with a thumbnail that is 113×340. For an
   image that is 1500×500, the width is resized to 720, so 720/1500 = 48%. The height
   is then sized proportionately so 500 x 0.48 = 240, and the thumbnail is 720×240.
 * As you have pointed out there are numerous support threads (and articles) regarding
   images and thumbnails. In case you haven’t run across these, here are a couple
