Slider facelift

I have been using this theme for years now and I love it. However, I think the slider can use a facelift / new options to keep up with the ever changing whishes. I have some ideas to update the slider and make the options 2020 proof. I am not using the caroussel function, but I use the slider for displaying a slide as an hero image.

For instance, I would like to add a <h1> title in the top part slider, but with the option not to use any background grading. In the bottompart, I would like to add a searchbar for clients (or the option to add (short)code), with background grading ‘pick your color’ and definable transparancy. In addition, a button color and placement should also be selectable.

Another idea, the option to add an image as layover. For instance, “ONLY $9.99” or an arrow to draw extra attention to the text.
