[resolved] Slider disappears after logging out of WP backend (4 posts)

    Hi,

The slider only appears when I'm logged into the WP back-end. As soon as I log out, the slider disappears.

There are no other sliders in use and any changes I make (adding or changing slides) happen only as long as I'm logged into back-end.

    Hi coconutorganics,

Are you using Role Scoper or Press Permit? If so, please check this thread http://wordpress.org/support/topic/meta-slider-lite-plugin-not-working-when-logged-out?replies=6 (the answer is in the last post)

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am not using Role Scoper or Press Permit.

The way I'm using Meta Slider is via the homepage widget. I just went down the list and deactivated the plugins one by one. The slider did appear after I deactivated the Quick Cache plugin. Any workaround to this issue OR should I just avoid this plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hi coconutorganics,

I'm not familiar with Quick Cache sorry, but you may just need to clear the cache before you log out.

We've used WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache with decent results.

    Regards,
    Tom.
