Slider cutting off edges

At the top we have a slider. Before the last couple upgrades to WordPress and Customizr the slider showed just fine, but if you look closely when the page first opens you can read the text on the left and right of the slider and then it expands such that it’s being cut off. I’ve tried messing with borders and a few other CSS tweaks, but nothing seems to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas? I don’t want the slider to be 100% and it was A-ok before the last month.
