Slider copy has the same soliloquy slug as the original
-
Hi Tim,
Reporting a bug when cloning/coying an slider.
Using Soliloquy Lite Version 2.4.0.7
————————————————-
1.- Create a new slider called “my slider 00” and publish it
You get the popup message: You can place this slider anywhere into your posts, pages, custom post types or widgets by using one of the shortcode(s) below:
[soliloquy id=”831″]
[soliloquy slug=”my-slider-00″]2.- Click “Copy to a new draft”, rename the copy to “my slider 01” and publish
You get the message:
You can place this slider anywhere into your posts, pages, custom post types or widgets by using one of the shortcode(s) below:
[soliloquy id=”834″]
[soliloquy slug=”my-slider-00″]PROBLEM : the copy has the same soliloquy slug as the original!
and yet, in the database we can see:
post-title | post-name
————-┼————
my slider 00 | my-slider-00
my slider 01 | my-slider-01
where I expect “post-name” to be the same as “soliloquy slug”3.- The full extent of the problem appears when one wants to insert a soliloquy slider in a post/page. The list of available sliders shows:
Choose Your Slider
my slider 00
[soliloquy id=”834]
and
my slider 00
[soliloquy id=”831]
which is confusing…
Hope you can find a fix.
