Is there a way to customize the slider without having to use a post of page for the content? I don’t want a post to be displayed in the header, so to try to achieve what I want I made a new page titled as the headline I want to show up in the slider. This works fine, however, I don’t want the button to lead to the headline page I created, I want to have it linked to a different page. Is this achievable?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks for using Startup Blog!

There currently is not an option to set a unique headline in the slider, but I will add this in the next update.

    Hi Ben,

Thanks so much for the reply! Do you happen to have an estimated date on when you will have a new update? Thanks again.

I can’t provide an exact estimate, but I should have an update out by the end of the week.

    Hey,

I’ve just released v1.13 of Startup Blog with custom slide titles for posts and pages. To set a custom title, add a new custom field named “startup_blog_title” and then enter the title you’d like to use (screenshot).

If you don’t see a Custom Fields section, scroll to the top of the page, click the Screen Options tab, and check off the Custom Fields box (screenshot).
