Slider and image not visible after update to 4.5.1

After updating all of my plugins and wordpress to the latest version, the slider at the bottom of my home page is not visible along with an image below the slider. I have not changed any coding. There were several other pages that broke as well, but I was able to fix them, but my home page is giving me trouble. The slider is still there, but it isn’t visible and neither is the image below it like on my friends website. My friend has the exact same wordpress template and website with the mostly the same content. Below is a link to my page that is broken and a link to his website that is working. The only difference is he hasn’t updated any plugins or the wordpress version on his site.
