[Resolved] Slider Admin area – Not everything showing

  • I am running wp3.5.1, Display theme, and a few plugins. I installed and uninstalled the “Meta Slider” and I can upload files and a few other things, but most of the options are not editable and do not have any text next to the options. I have also switched to 20-11 theme to check and same issue..

    Please help…

    Hi breeze76,

Could you send a screenshot please? Do you have your WordPress installation set to a different language?

    Regards
    Tom.

It is set to English. How do I send you a screen shot? I mean, I know to use print-screen, but how do I get it so you can see it??

OK.. Odd thing.. after letting tings sit overnight all seems to work well.. BUT, I can not get it to be placed correctly..

Hi Breeze76, could you expand on that please? A link to your site would be ideal.

    Tom.

Well.. I am using Display theme, and it has it’s own slider, but I thought I would replace it with yours. I am not sure where to place the code to make it show in the correct place. I can send you a login to view the admin area if you like?

Hi, for theme issues you’d be best off contacting your theme author (especially as it appears to be a commercial theme).

It should be a case of finding where the slider is added, and swapping out the code for the meta slider template include.

The theme author will be in a better position to advise you where this code is in your template.

    Regards,
    Tom.
