 * Hi,
 * For editing the homepage slider, you can go to the **Appearance > Customize >
   Widgets > Front Page: Slider Area**. In that section, Edit the **TG: Featured
   Post(Style 1)**.
 * You can take a reference from the link below:
    [https://docs.themegrill.com/colornews/#section-12](https://docs.themegrill.com/colornews/#section-12)
 * Thanks.

 * I followed your instructions but when I got to the last area there was nowhere
   to assign an order to the posts and when I clicked on “edit” on the slider nothing
   happened. Just need to assign an order that makes sense to follow.
 * Appreciate any help.

 * I also can’t find where to set the transition timing on the homepage slider.
   It is running too fast to be able to read the text.
 * Appreciate your help.

 * If you are referring to order the posts as needed for your site then, maybe you
   can try the plugin: Intuitive Custom Post Order available within WordPress plugin
   directory and see if that helps? However, if you are referring for the slider
   order then, you need to remove the slider currently set in your site and then,
   again add the slider content as needed for your site. Hope you have got it.
 * And for the transition option, maybe you can contact to us via our chat support
   through our site link?
 * Thanks.

 * Thank you responding. I just edited the dates of the posts to be in the order
   I needed.
 * The only issue now is the timing of the transitions because they are switching
   too fast to read. I could not find this setting anywhere so if you could let
   me know how I change it that would be great.

 * Ok then, if you can code on your own then, you can achieve that via the child
   theme. You should probably change the JS settings for the slider via the child
   theme as needed.
 * Thanks.

 * No, I am no programmer. I just need to know where to set the transition timing
   as there is with all sliders. The slider is useless now when there is no time
   to read the slides.
 * Appreciate your help.

 * The slider JS settings is within the file: `js/custom.js’ and we are using BxSlider
   for the slider within this theme. So, maybe modify that file as needed for your
   site via the child theme?
 * Thanks.

 * Could someone PLEASE help me with this! The slider runs too fast to read and
   does not stop when you hover either, which most sliders do. We will need to change
   to another theme if we can’t get any support on ColorNews.
