• Hello all,

Thanks for your time reviewing this. My issue is that I am using SlideDeck 2 with great success. However, when I presented the site to the client they told me they use AOL as their browser. The site worked slow but ok during the presentation. However when I came home I downloaded AOL desktop for my mac for testing. When I test the site in AOL desktop slide deck will not load past the LOADING Were decking out your content screen. I have tried my hardest but I am far from an expert at this type of issue. Has anyone had this issue or have any suggestions on how to rectify it?

    site – http://www.phoenixperformance-news.com
    theme – NEURO

Ive tested with success on multiple versions of Firefox, IE, and Chrome. Honestly I forgot about AOL so shame on me for not testing.

    Thanks again for any help

I have an update. With continued testing I have narrowed down the problem to just AOL Desktop for MAC. I booted to windows via bootcamp and installed the win version of AOL Desktop and everything ran perfect. It also ran fast while when I was presenting to the client earlier today it ran painfully slow. Luckily they use PC’s so it was the Win version of AOL. Had they not wanted a demo on their machines I would have used my laptop to present it.

So I have drawn the following conclusions:
    1. This particular problem is isolated just to the Mac version of AOL Desktop.
    2. My clients connection is garbage.
    3. I hate AOL

So I guess my question is should I stress about it? On all of my sites analytics the AOL percentage is slim to none. Ill have to check if I can reference how many MAC AOL users are coming but I think its kind of moot. Most MAC users are not going to make an effort to go out and get AOL desktop. Like I said earlier I forgot about AOL.

At any rate I am not the type to just sit and ignore a problem so if anyone stumbles upon a solution for MAC Desktop I would be grateful. If not lets hope it is something that gets addressed by AOL.
