    The slideshow’s stylesheet color seems to be overruled by the color in your theme’s stylesheet. If you place ‘!important‘ after the CSS rule, but before the semi-colon, the color and size should work. This looks something like this:

    .slideshow_container .slideshow_description a {
        color: #fff !important;
        font-size: 20px !important;
    }

    The example will set the description color to white and the font size to 20 pixels. Of course you can choose any color and size for it.
