# Slide Transition Speed Problem

 * I am using oceanwp/wp-child and have placed a post slider in my homepage. I have
   adjusted Post Slider Settings > Slide > Speed from 500ms all the way to 20000ms.
   This setting adjusts the time before transition, but does not effect the transition
   speed. I took a look at Slick Slider’s docs and see they have a speed setting.
   Is this the correct setting for slowing down the transition speed, and if so,
   how can I target it to slow the transition speed?
 * Edit: Looking in the [developer docs main.js file](https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/ocean-posts-slider/tags/1.0.12/assets/js/main.js),
   I see the function declaration for slider.slick starting on line 48, and see 
   the speed attribute set at 500ms. How can I target that so I won’t lose that 
   change on future updates?

 * I think it was the primary colour ooption in customize section, could you please
   have a look at the site and let me know if you can see the purple colour? if 
   is looks okay?

 * Yes, you are right. it is the primary color. Go to Customize > General Option
   > General Styling and change the primary color.

   reason my email notifications did not come through until all at once. My site
   is [Diy Crusader](https://diycrusader.com/) . To reiterate, it is the speed of
   the slides when they are moving that I need to change. The slider is on the home
   page.
