slide show suggestion needed

Hi, I am working on a site for a friends and she wants a small slideshow of just 3 or 4 images on the home page, images fade in and out with a title and description to the side.

I have checked out several plugins. Front page slideshow is much more complex that it appears from the description and she doesn’t want to create a category and posts in order for the images to show on the home page. She also doesn’t want a script that will cycle through her posts and harvest images.

Admin panel would be very helpful but not necessary if the code is easily editable (for a non techy person). Would be nice if she could upload images (to a specified directory) and add a title and description upon upload and then it would automatically display in her slide show. Is this possible? If a script exists could someone point me in the right direction?
