Support » Plugin: MailPoet - emails and newsletters in WordPress » Slide In Forms causing issues with loading of card input fields on checkout

  • Resolved agizzie

I recently had an issue with the card details input fields on checkout pages not loading – the iframe was having trouble loading. This issue was only present on Firefox browsers however.

I have 2 MailPoet slide in forms set up on my site, set to operate on all pages – one opt in and one exit intent. I figured these forms could be delaying the loading of the iframe fieldset. I changed the settings to not appear on checkout pages and the credit card details input fields are now loading again.

This has only been the case since a recent update of MailPoet, maybe something to look into.

    Hi @agizzie,

Thanks for sharing this issue with us.

Could you please let us know what is plugin you’re using for allowing credit card payments on your checkout account?

    Hi @bruberries

Yes, I’m using woocommerce with woo payments, PayPal Payments, and a storefront (child) theme.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for confirming and for your feedback.

I’ll share this with the devs so that they are aware of this and I am happy to see that you already found a workaround.
