    Dear Sami,

I´m sorry to post another (even more critical) issue with your plugin after we could fix this issue https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-leads-to-wrong-content-for-specific-pages/

We have found multiple pages on our website where the slashes was removed our of URL without any comprehensible trigger.

    An example:
The page “Lagerstandorte” is created as sub-page:
    – Logistikkompetenz
    — Lagerlogistik
    — Lagerstandorte

So the original URL was logically:
    /logistikkompetenz/lagerlogistik/lagerstandorte

But now we have multiple pages (around ~6 of 68) where in the URL the slashes are removed like this
    /logistikkompetenzlagerlogistiklagerstandorte/

Do you have any clue what could be the reason for this issue.

Please help as we want to avoid further mess up in our live system.

    Thanks.

    Best
    Steffen

    Hi @gravima,

I have checked the Parent Post Pages and it’s working fine for me. I have created 3 pages same as you said above with the same title but, didn’t get any issue in it.

I suggest you the same things once again. Create 3 new pages suppose with your name.

    Gravima1
    –Gravima2
    —-Gravima3

And check whether the new permalinks are fine or not. If it doesn’t work fine so, there must be some plugin which is conflicting with this plugin so, you need debug this. otherwise, i can’t help you till i didn’t know the procedure to produce the issue.

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Hi @gravima ,

I have not heard anything regarding this from more than a month ago. I think, that the issue was due to the editing the post on Quick Edit Mode.

When you were edit your post on Quick Edit edit mode so, the trailing slashes are removed. I have fixed this issue in the latest version of the plugin.

Please try and provide your valuable feedback.

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Hi Sami,

we have reworked all the URLs in complete system for cleanup. But the original reason is still not clear. It was definately not the “quick edit mode” issue. But we are having the system under close look. If again something strange will happen I will inform you here. Thanks for your good work anyway and for the community efforts in WordPress.

    Thanks
    Steffen
