[Resolved] Size of pix in slider and More Articles and limiting pix in slider

  • Hi. My blog is http://omnivorousvegetarian.com/. I’m just getting started with this theme and would like to know what size the slider pix are by default?

Also, how can I limit which pix are shown? I tried to create a category but it didn’t show up as an option after I created it so I thought maybe I need to assign some pix to it only when I tried that I could only assign the pix to posts not to categories so even if it showed up in the list I’ve no idea how to assign pix to it.

Also any idea how to control the size and which pix show up in the More articles section?

    Thank you.

    Brian

The slider is 720px X 320px. If you upload a featured image bigger than that it will be cropped to fit your slider.

    Thanks Brad.

Any thoughts on the other questions?
How can I limit which pictures are shown?
Controlling the size and which pictures show up in the more section?

If you do not set a “featured Image” it will display a image from your post. You can set a featured image and not even have that image in your post if you don’t want to and that will be the image that displays in your slider/blog/home.
